How can you convey a complex concept in an engaging format?

This was the main hurdle for Environmental Defence when they first approached me with the False Solutions project. The objective of the campaign is to educate the public on carbon capture and hydrogen, as well as how they are false solutions oil companies propose to continue generating revenue.

These are both technical concepts that are hard to capture from a live action perspective, so I proposed an animated solution that dramatizes the false perception these solutions are associated with. It engages the audience in a fun, twisted and mocking manner.
