Design Bootcamp
School of Motion - Fall 2021
Design Bootcamp is a 12-weeks intensive course that’s all about typography, composition and colour when it comes to designing style frames and storyboards.
Designing a frame is more than just throwing a few shapes together.
As a student, I was challenged to work on all types of design projects - from product advertisements to 15sec TV spots. Each assignment was presented as a real-world project, so it was essential to reflect all requirements from the client brief in the final creative piece.
everlearn.io
Style frames for a :15 advertisement to tell the core concept of everlearn.io. This hybrid educational facility is a startup devoted to educating the US public about the issues surrounding the way higher education is sold and delivered. The storyline focuses on the enormous financial burden educational institutions now place on their students compared to before.
IBM SmartCity
Storyboard for a :30 spot to unveil IBM’s new concept - SmartCity - to the world. SmartCity is still under development, so instead of showing very specific things, the client would like to showcase some of the broader ideas: Less traffic, affordable housing, lower energy costs.
Premium Beat
Storyboard for a :30 Anthem spot of Premium Beat. The spot is called “The Perfect Song” and talks about how important music is to the creative video process, how great the Premium Beat experience can be.
